Somethin' Somethin' is a fully licensed venue available for private hire through to 10pm, one of the few intimate spaces in Mount Maunganui where you can have the whole place to yourselves late into the evening. Tucked away on Heath Street with a sunny, covered deck, great food, and a team that genuinely loves putting on a good event.

Whether it's a birthday dinner, corporate event, team celebration, or networking evening, we'll work with you to build something that feels like you and not a generic function package. We can accommodate DJs, live musicians, and AV setups, and our bespoke menus are designed around your occasion, not the other way around.

Free Space Available

Community Events

If you have a community focused event that is organised by a non-profit group or organisation, contact us to chat about accessing our space. We regularly provide free access to our space (only) for communities to get together. Does not include any food, beverage or staffing components.

Our space comfortably seats 50 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 75 for a cocktail-style event.
